TRAINING: 9am- run for about 45 minutes. 11am-Pad work and striking drills with Murat Keshtov. 12:30pm - Cross training with AMA Fight Club. 2pm-Strength and Conditioning training. 7pm-Grappling with Rustam Chsiev

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training back in June of 2007

What ranks and titles have you held? Russian Combat Sambo Champion

Do you have any heroes? Dana White, Fedor Emelianenko, Alexander Emelianenko, Georges St-Pierre

What does it mean for you to fight in STRIKEFORCE? I am very honored, as I come from a small village in Chechnya and I did not think that I would be in such an amazing show.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Back in 2000 during the first Chechen war our school was destroyed by air strikes and there was no means for me to continue my education. We had to study by sharing books in a small tent. I am taking courses now in order to complete my college degree.

What was your job before you started fighting? Student/ construction worker

Specific accomplishments in pro competition? 5 knockouts out of 7 wins. I don't like to leave to the judges. This way no one has bad feelings.

Favorite grappling technique: Ezekiel Choke

Favorite Striking technique: Spinning back kick

What do you consider to be the key fight in your career, and why? My first MMA fight was with my current teammate Alexey Oleinik. Alexey choked me out with an Ezekiel choke and I had no idea about grappling at that time. I realized back then that I need to improve my grappling in order to advance myself.
