When and why did you start training for fighting? I wanted to have strong confidence in myself about fighting. When I started in 2002, I was just a high school boy.

What ranks and titles have you held? Ranked first in the world in Professional Shooto; Professional Shooto Pacific Middleweight class Champion

What is your favorite technique? Sorry, it’s a secret

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is necessary to choose the toughest place in the MMA world to become the strongest fighter in the world. UFC is the toughest and most respected place in MMA. I also want to know how my technique will adjust in the UFC.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I am in the fourth grade of college now.

What was your job before you started fighting? I am a college student, fighter, and sometime instructor of MMA.
