TRAINING: I wake up early, do my first training session, usually at 12, work for two hours, go home, rest until 7, and train again, so it’s two two hour sessions daily.
When and why did you start training to become a fighter? At 16. With the encouragement of my sister Carina Damm, I started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
What ranks and titles have you held? Third degree BJJ black belt, former member of the Brazilian National Wrestling team.
Do you have any heroes? Jesus Christ
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is a dream come true to fight in the biggest fighting event on earth.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, Physical Education
What was your job before you started fighting? I have done many things - I was a key maker and construction worker
