선수 소개
When and why did you start training for fighting? In 2001 my friend Chael Sonnen got me into MMA. My college wrestling career was over and at first I was simply looking for a way to stay in shape. The first place I went was Maurice Smiths gym and I was quickly hooked.
What ranks and titles have you held? College wrestling: 3 time PAC-10 Champ, 2 time division 1 all American, 12 titles, 111 wins.
Do you have any heroes? Without question it was Dan Gable. Throughout my wrestling career Gable was my hero. As I get older, I am amazed at what Randy Couture is doing.
What is your favorite technique? I enjoy ground and pound and dropping elbows on my opponent.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon. I have a Masters in Education from Pacific University.
What was your job before you started fighting? Coaching wrestling at Indiana University, I also coach wrestling at Highline Community College.
