When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training at the age of 15. I always wanted to be a boxer but ended up getting into MMA. Had my first MMA fight at 17 and was immediately hooked.

What ranks and titles held? Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career and why? Too many with significance, but definitely my last fight with Ricky Simon. Pushed myself not only physically but mentally. Was out of the cage for over a year and to come back and fight a killer like Ricky Simon on a month's notice — it definitely changed a lot about myself.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Of all time, it's Cain Velasquez. He was vicious when he got in the cage and always pushed the pace. Was never the biggest guy but always made sure that it wasn't a factor in his fights. Was also pretty cool to have representation in the sport.

Do you have any heroes? My father, my mother, and Coach Saul - they’ve all had a big influence in how my life has gone. My dad was actually a reason I wanted to fight; he was a boxer, so I wanted to try and follow in his footsteps. I ended up going in the route of MMA instead of boxing.

What would it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I absolutely love fighting, and I want to compete with the best in the world. The best in the world are in the UFC. Of course, I’m striving to be a champion, but the first task is getting into the UFC. Fighting in the UFC would mean I’m a part of the best fighters of the world and I’m striving to be the absolute best.

Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? Love and peace. Also saying F#CK Cancer.

What was your job before you started fighting? I actually got a job so I could continue to fight. I’m currently still working for the City of Deer Park as a Meter Reader.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition: 6-0 with 4 KOs, 145 Legacy Amateur Champion

Favorite grappling Technique: Triangle Choke

Favorite Striking Technique: Straight right hand

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: Two kids, still with the mother of my children. Hobbies? I like jumping on WWE 2K26 to hit something with a steel chair lol. But I mostly like spending time with my family and bonding with the kids.

What is one thing that you want UFC fans around the world to know about you? I like to give out 23 flavors of ass whoopings like I'm a walking Dr. Pepper.
