UFC Fight Night (5/30/26) Xiong lost a three round unanimous decision to Angela Hill

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is a dream come true, but the goal is to become UFC world champion. I will fight my hardest to represent myself and China well.

When and why did you start training to fight? 2012 I started with boxing, true start at mma in 2017. My father watched kickboxing when I was a kid, that really was a big influence. he instilled an independent, mindset, I must do everything on my own. Which I feel is why I have a more masculine personality sometimes.

What are your current ranks in martial arts? Brown Belt is BJJ

Specific accomplishments in Pro competition? 8-time ONE FC world champion

What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career? It was a loss in my career, going down in weight to challenger for a second weight world title, even though I lost the fight, I was proud of the improvements I made in camp and the lessons I learnt in the fight.

Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? Charity is a big cause that I don’t like to talk about, I help teenagers in need in China, and regularly donate to relief projects.

Beyond a championship and money, what motivates you? The most important thing for me is to be an example to my people in China, I want to show through my hard work and grit we can do anything. I want to inspire people the younger generation and show that China has World class athletes.

Did you go to college, if so what degree did you earn? I was given a boxing graduate scholarship, from the Shandong Sports University

Favorite Grappling Technique: Armbar

Favorite Striking Technique: Used to be knees to grounded opponents haha but now due to the rule difference in the UFC, knees to standing opponents.
