When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training when I was 15 and fell in love with it, but really, I was born to do this - it’s my calling / destiny.
What professional titles have you held? FCC Featherweight Champ, Cage Warriors Featherweight Champ
Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? 9-0 amateur and won the AFC bantamweight title and defended it 3 times
Any belts/ ranks in grappling disciplines? 2nd degree black belt in BJJ
What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Toughest fights to date have to be Jared Gordon and Julian Erosa - both very tough opponents I went to decision with in very close fights.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter is 'Big Nog' Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. I see myself in him and I aspire to be like him as I know I can take a beating and keep coming back to finish my opponent at the last second.
What was your job before you started fighting? I’ve never had a normal job – I started training full time when I was 16.
Personal Life/Background: Father to 2 beautiful newborn twin girls and a husband to a beautiful wife, love Liverpool football club, I follow them home and away, one of my main passions outside of MMA, Scouser/Sorcerer
