When and why did you start training for fighting? At 7 years old, I started Judo because I always liked fighting and I had too much energy that would always get me in trouble.

Any belts/ ranks in grappling disciplines? Judo brown belt, grappling blue belt

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Fight against Ibo Aslan in 2018; we had a toe-to-toe war, and he was a lot bigger than I was.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Jon Jones because of his violent style and killer instinct

Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? Heroes outside of fighting are the people working in the PI, they make our lives so much easier and are always warm hearted and supportive. I can’t think of better people and it’s so good to have all these people while you go through a hard camp! love these guys!

Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to use my platform to show young boys that you dont have to be perfect, we all struggle and its important to stay disciplined and be a strong leader. So many young boys are struggling and have no confidence and our society need more strong men. I want to show them that its not about perfection but about improvement every single day to become your best self!

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a carpenter, building barns, houses, roofs, bridges

Origin of nickname: My first grappling coach called me Robzilla because I was injuring all his students.

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: In fight week of my last fight that I had to pull out becaue of my back injury, my mum passed away, I wanted to dedicate the fight to her and make her proud, I wasn’t able to so now this next one is for my mama, who is watching proudly from above!
