Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? My mother and my grandmother.
What are your current martial arts ranks? I’m a BJJ black belt.
Any notable professional competition achievements? National BJJ Champion.
What fight do you consider the most important of your career and why? I believe I’ve had several important fights, but my fight against Carlos Huachin in 2018 was a turning point in my career.
Is there a cause you’d like to use your platform for? Helping others and showing that no matter where you come from, you can always rise above your circumstances.
Beyond championships or money, what motivates you? To be living proof that anything is possible for those who never give up.
Did you attend university? If so, what degree did you earn? I didn’t attend university, but I studied physical training and conditioning courses.
What did you do for work before you started fighting? I worked as a courier and a waiter.
Favorite grappling technique: The Electric Chair.
Favorite striking technique: Superman Punch.
Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I’m a simple person. I have a girlfriend, no children, and a cat. Outside of fighting, I enjoy playing video games and spending weekends having barbecues while watching the UFC.
