UFC Fight Night (2/28/26) Luna won a three round unanimous decision over Angel Pacheco

Noche UFC (9/13/25) Luna knocked out Quang Le at 2:48 of the first round

When and why did you start training for fighting? I was in my senior year of high school and was about to decide which college I was going to, but I had bigger dreams in this atmosphere and decided to shoot big and chase that UFC title three years ago.

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? 4-time Wrestling National Champ for Mexico, 2-time Pan American Wrestling Qualifier, 2-time World Championship Qualifier

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Wouldn't say they were tough, but just longer. Against Magomed Bayduev.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter is Charles Oliveira. I just love the style and heart that he has.

What was your job before you started fighting? Worked in a Burger Place and AutoZone.

Origin of nickname: Nickname came from a good friend of mine that just started calling me "BorderBoy" when I started fighting because the basketball team from my high school were called Border Boyz; the school was next to the Mexican border, and I would cross every day for school and practice.

Personal Life / Background: I’ve always had the support from my family, brothers, sister and my parents. When I was around 6-7 years old, my parents got deported back to Mexico. It was tough for them to give something, a good future to their kids. I’m proud of my dad; he always gave us the best possible life out there; he never gave up. When I was 8 years old, I was introduced to wrestling in Tijuana, Mexico. My Coach Chacon, he taught me everything I could know in wrestling, helped me so much when there were times I thought about quitting. Huge part of the guy I am right now, and I’m not only speaking about wrestling. He made me the most disciplined, loving and hard-working person I could be. I wouldn’t be anything I am if it wasn’t because of him. My brothers and parents have guided me and supported me so much that they made it easier for me.

Who are 3 people you'd love to meet or work with? Nelk Boys, Stevewilldoit, Khabib

What are your hobbies, activities or other interests when not training for a fight? Ride dirt bikes, go to the beach, play pool, go out to eat, shooting, family time, coffee, church.
