When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training martial arts just for sport. But I started to love fighting and things went very natural for me since.

What ranks and titles have you held? Imortal FC middleweight champion, CFP middleweight champion

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Alex Pereira. He’s a great friend, and I’ve seen his journey from the beginning. Watching where hard work has taken him is incredibly inspiring to me.

Do you have any heroes or inspirations outside of fighting? The Vikings. I really admire their mindset and the way they approached life, and I try to bring that mentality into my fights.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It`s a dream come true. I`ve worked so hard to fight here and it gives me the chance to make a career inside UFC. I never worked; I always focused myself on being an MMA fighter for a living.

Ranks in any martial arts styles: BJJ Black Belt, Black Belt in Muay Thai

What fight do you consider to be the most important of your career and why? This fight against Dulatov is the most important fight of my career right now. I’ve always believed that your next fight is your biggest one, but this one means even more. I spent nearly three years away from competition, went through four surgeries, and faced a lot of uncertainty. Now I feel like I’m making my debut all over again. I’m happy, motivated, and excited to get back into the Octagon and show everything I’ve worked on during that time.

Beyond winning a championship or making money, what motivates you? My biggest motivation is my family.

What was your job before you started fighting? I never worked; I always focused myself on being an MMA fighter for a living.

Favorite grappling technique: Rear naked choke

Favorite Striking technique: High kick to the head

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I’m a pretty laid-back guy. I’m currently single and don’t have any children, but I have two nephews who are like sons to me. I love animals and have a dog named Ragnar. I enjoy anything related to nature, like hiking and spending time at the beach. I also love being with my family and friends. My hobbies are sports and music.
