What are your thoughts on your opponent, Neil Magny? First of all, I respect Neil Magny for taking the fight with me. I also have respect for his fighting skills, which allowed him to win against strong opponents.
What’s been the biggest difference in training for this fight? What made this training camp special was that I had incredible motivation because I had wanted to fight in the UFC for a long time. About 3 years ago, when I defended my Bellator title, my record was 27-0, many people called me the best welterweight. But many also said that to be the best you have to fight in the UFC and until you are there you are not the best. It was at that moment that I lost interest in everything that was happening outside the best promotion in the world. A very difficult period in my career awaited me next (someday I will tell about this in detail), but I got through it, and here I am!
When and why did you start training for fighting? I lived in a fairly crime-ridden area. And I started practicing martial arts. I started simply to be able to defend myself.
What professional titles have you held? Bellator Champion / Tech-Krep promotion Champion.
Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? I am a four-time World champion and multiple European champion in Combat Sambo.
Any belts/ranks in grappling disciplines? Ukrainian Cup champion
What has been your toughest fight to date and why?I am confident that the most toughest fight is ahead of me, and I am ready for it.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? It used to be Jon Jones but not anymore.
Did you go to college and if so, what degree did you earn? Yes, I received a higher education in the field of tax law.
What was your job before you started fighting? I've never worked anywhere, except for odd jobs in my youth. I've been a professional athlete my entire adult life.
Origin of nickname: I don't use a nickname anymore.
Personal Life / Background (family stuff, kids, etc.): Yes, I have a wonderful family: a wife and two children, a son and a daughter.

What are your hobbies, activities or other interests when not training for a fight? I really like to do different extreme sports: cycling, motorcycles, and also shooting.
